Mellow Designs is a branding and UI/UX studio. We handcraft and grow brands with our services, which include designing logos from scratch to building a complete visual identity, website design, advertising, media planning, photography, and videos. We also provide consultation and strategic business development solutions for our clients.

We're a small yet mighty team of designers, artists, and writers. Rohit Dhongade, founder and creative director, founded Mellow Designs in 2018 as he observed the dire need for creative, high-quality design. We still believe in the same values. Skills required:

  • Creative conceptualization

  • Must be fluent in English and plus point for fluency in Hindi

Required Experience and Qualifications

Experience:

2-3 years in a design studio, advertising agency, or media house. Freshers with relevant skills can apply too.

Objectives of the role

You will be the voice behind the brands
We work on defining brand values, setting up the right brand positioning, setting their tone of communication, and creating a personality for the brand. You will be solely responsible for conceptualizing and setting the tone of voice for mellow.


Research, conceptualize and present the ideas
It will be your duty to do your research and come up with creative ideas and great storytelling as part of your job. Be it defining the name for a brand, a tagline, a creative ad, an ad film script, a website copy, or any smallest part of communication, your copy needs to elevate the design.

You get time for big projects but you have to be quick on small things

You will thrive in a collaborative environment, but at the same time, you will get time to conceptualize the big projects.

Take ownership. Not just do your part.
You will be working with designers and editors to give life to the creatives. You have to make sure that the desired objective output is achieved as per your ideas with the freedom to others.

Raise the bar

  • Continuously raise the bar on creativity, writing fresh copy that connects with the desired audience and drives action
  • Comfortably vary voice, style, and other characteristics demanded by the industry, company, or target audience at hand
  • Stay updated on appropriate style guidelines, topical trends and present that brand voice to our clients
  • Possess a strong understanding of design thinking and the design process

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

  • Interpret creative briefs to develop and produce creative concepts through the execution of assigned brands
  • Research and understand the client's needs and target audiences, through online & primary research, reviews of existing research, interviews with subject matter experts
  • Present concepts to the creative director and team you’re working with. Participate in client pitches occasionally
  • Ideate ad campaigns & write video/ad film script and static ad copies as per the campaign.
  • Ideate and conceptualize narratives for brands including setting their tone and personality (Packaging, websites, social media)
  • Present concepts and scripts for performance marketing ads (motion graphics, videos, and static ads)
  • Conceptualize creative ideas to create engaging content on social media (only for the Mellow page)
  • Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions
